Why are forums so badly designed?
In my experience, forum designs often leave a lot to be desired. Many forums seem to be stuck in the past, lacking modern, user-friendly interfaces. This can make navigation difficult, especially for new users. I've noticed a lack of attention to basic UX principles, making interactions cumbersome and unappealing. It seems clear to me that many forum designers prioritize function over form, but a balance of both is essential for engaging and retaining users.
